This results in fertilised eggs (zygotes), which are placed in incubation ovens with specific culture conditions. They then develop into embryos. After 2-6 days, the best ones are selected, that is, the ones most likely to be implanted, and placed in the woman&#8217;s uterus, in a procedure called embryo transfer.
